Inventory anxiety

The “maybe box” always wins.

You start strong. You fill a box. You label it maybe. Six months later, it's still in the garage, untouched and undecided. The box has become the clutter.

  • 73%of people who start a declutter session never finish it.
  • 30 daysis how long it takes to realize you never actually needed most of it.
  • 1 boxis all Pare asks you to fill. One photo at a time.

How it works

Three seconds a day.
That's the whole ritual.

  1. 01

    Snap it.

Point your camera at anything you're unsure about. AI names it for you automatically. No typing, no tags.

  2. 02

    Forget it.

Drop the item into a physical box in your closet or garage. Pare remembers it so your brain doesn't have to.

  3. 03

    Let it go.

On day 30, we'll nudge you: "You survived a month without it." Tap donate. Close the loop. Breathe.

The 30-day promise

If you miss it, take it back.
No hard feelings.

Every item gets 30 days in probation. At any point, you can hit Retrieve and Pare will remind you exactly where you put it. Need that whisk for brunch? Search Whisk and jump straight to the box it's in. Most items never come back. But knowing you could is what makes letting go possible.

Your home.
Your rules.
Your choice.

You're taking photos of your most private spaces. Your probation list and photos are local-first. Cloud assist for titles is off until you turn it on. Change your mind anytime.

Default: Photos on device, you name items yourself. No image uploads for AI until you opt in.
  • Local-first by default

Your probation box lives on your phone first. It works on the plane, in the basement, anywhere, instantly. Optional encrypted sync if you want it.

  • Photos: your storage, your call

Keep item photos on your phone, or opt in to encrypted Pare Cloud to sync between your devices. Switch anytime in Settings.

  • AI with no memory

If you turn on cloud assist, we send the photo for a one-time analysis and return suggested text. We don't keep your images as an archive on our side. If you leave it off, you type the name yourself.

  • One prompt a day

A single, gentle nudge at 8pm (or your chosen time). No streaks, no guilt, no dopamine tricks.

Who it's for

For anyone who's been
stuck between keep and toss.

  • “I've tried every decluttering app. The problem wasn't the list, it was the decision. A 30-day buffer is the only thing that's ever let me actually donate something.”

    Priya R.Aspirational minimalist
  • “As someone with ADHD, ‘one photo’ is the only ask I can consistently meet. No tags, no folders, no typing. Just snap and forget.”

    Marcus D.Neurodivergent organizer
  • “I had five ‘maybe’ boxes in my garage for two years. Pare turned them into one box with an actual expiration date. That changed everything.”
